About Us

Better Casesealers, LLC. is the collaborative effort of two well established Cleveland, Ohio area companies.


Better Packaging Systems stocks and services packaging equipment and materials for carton sealing, product cushioning, and product protection and has been servicing clients across the US for over twenty years. Frequent client visits have given Better Packaging Systems a deep understanding of the needs of packaging departments. Rapid Seal was conceptualized when Better Packaging Systems saw a need for a machine that would fill a large void in the case sealing equipment industry.


Buschman Corporation, established in 1976, is a world leader in the manufacture of highly-specialized parts for the paper and converting industries. This unique market has necessitated constant innovation in product and process engineering that has allowed Buschman Corporation to maintain a reputation as the world-wide quality leader in its market.


Better Casesealers manufactures in Buschman Corporation’s 650,000 square foot facility in downtown Cleveland. All the components of Rapid Seal are manufactured and assembled in the Cleveland, Ohio area.

Hugh Kendall Boice


Thomas W. Buschman

Tom started making equipment for the paper industry in the dirt floor basement of his home more than three decades ago. With no college training, the home-grown inventor holds multiple patents, and designed and built most of the production machinery still used in his factory today. The company has been recognized three times in the INC 500 and five times in Cleveland’s Weatherhead 100.


Westlake D. Buschman

Wes joined Buschman Corporation as a production worker after serving 4 years in the United States Marine Corps infantry, serving combat duty in both Iraq and Afghanistan. Taking after his father, Wes now designs and builds all new equipment and processes for the company.
